Frequently asked questions
Most of our flights depart from Jabiru Airport in Kakadu National Park. We also offer departures from Darwin and Cooinda, check your tour details when booking, or contact us to confirm.
We are currently flying Dry Season routes! Our Darwin tours are perfect for the cooler weather and the sunset flights are camera worthy!
Yes we do! However you will need to call us on 1800 089 113 or leave us an enquiry in the chat and we can book you direct with other passengers!

Fixed-wings flight are operated in our fleet of Cessna 172, Cessna 210, Cessna 310, GA8 Airvan & Cessna 402 light aircraft. The Fixed-Wing flight is able to see more of Kakadu in a short amount of time. Everyone receives a window seat and we can take 2-7 passengers in any 1 plane!
We have two helicopters in our fleet a 3-Seater R44 and a 4-Seater Jet Ranger. The Helicopters are able to get closer to see the amazing views. The doors are able to be removed on our Heli's to give you an adrenaline rush! We have two helicopters in our fleet a 3-Seater R44 and a 4-Seater Jet Ranger (someone has to sit in the middle seat if you book for 4 passengers though!)
From Jabiru Accommodation: Absolutely! It is a $10 pickup fee and we will pick you up 30 minutes before your flight departure. Make sure you select the additional pick up when booking!
From Darwin/Cooinda: We do not, sorry! Unfortunately due to our staff size in both our Darwin/Cooinda locations we are unable to pickup!
For Cooinda you will need to check-in at Cooinda Lodge reception 30 minutes prior.
For Darwin, we ask that you meet us at 2 Slade Court Eaton 30 minutes prior to your departure time. There is NO parking at our Kakadu Air Departure Lounge. The closest parking (100m walk) is the long-term saver carpark at the Airport.
Your safety is our top priority. If weather conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll do our best to reschedule your flight or offer a refund. We’ll always keep you updated.
Passengers must be able to board the aircraft with minimal assistance. Our team is happy to help where we can, but we don’t have lifting equipment. If you or someone in your group has mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can assist safely and comfortably.
